How to Apply Eon Debit Card?

• Go to any Union Bank Branch within your area and submit the following requirements to the teller: Accomplished EON Cyber Account Application Form, 2 Valid ID’s with photocopy.
• Wait for 10 banking days to receive the EON Card then pay for the card’s annual fee amounting to P350.00
• Deposit a peso amount equivalent to $1.95 or P200 to the card. This is an important step before you link your credit card to Paypal! The $1.95 or P200 is the required so Paypal can verify the validity of the card. (to avoid any inconvenience don’t deposit an exact amount equivalent to $1.95, the enrollment may be unsuccessful based on experience from one of my friends.)
• Wait for another 2-3 banking days then visit www.unionbankph.com and enroll an EON Cyber Account.

How to Enroll an EON Cyber Account Online?

• Validate your ATM/debit card number and PIN by entering your ATM CardNumber and PINNominate a user ID
• Confirm your User IDComplete the enrollment form

You’re done. You will reach a confirmation screen signifying that your application has been received and can log-in 48 hours later.

Start Using your EON Cyber Account Online

Visit www.unionbankph.com and click EON Cyber AccountLogin and enter your User ID and ATM PIN.Now you can start banking online. Once your account is active you can start linking it to Paypal to verify your Account.

EON Card Details

Any credit/debit card to be added to internet banking services or payment processor must be valid and active, so make sure to check the validity date or expiry date of the card. Paypal will also require you to enter the CVV or Card Verification Number. Where is my CVV found? It is the 3-Digit number you will find at he back of the card. It is very important to remember that you should not share that information to anyone to keep your account security and prevent unusual activities on your credit card. You must report a stolen credit card to your card issuing company so they may issue a stop payment procedure to avoid further theft.

Your PIN Code is provided in small sealed piece of paper once your card has been issued. It’s a 4-digit identification number used to access an ATM and online banking services, do take note that it is NOT your paypal code.Paypal will never send the paypal code to your email account. You must call your credit card company and ask for the 4-digit paypal code, just describe the transaction that is worth $1.95.

How to link your EON to PAYPAL..

• Unionbank does NOT need any minimum balance requirements. However, one must pay P350 to open up a bank account and the accompanying Unionbank EON card.
• Take note of the information written on the Unionbank EON card. The number at the middle of the card is the card number. The smaller number below your name is the bank account number. The bank account number IS THE ONE TO USE for verifying Paypal account.
• You need the following:

1. EON card and bank account number
2. valid email address
3. valid phone number
4. valid postal mailing address which should be the same as the address indicated in your Unionbank EON card
5. at least P200 deposit to cover $1.95 that Paypal takes away for verification. (Note that $1.95 is returned back into one’s Paypal account after a successful verification).

• Sign up for Paypal, choose Philippines then click the preferred account. Usually, a Personal Paypalaccount is enough. Make sure to use the same details that you had used with your Unionbank EON account.
• Confirm your email address by clicking the link in the verification email that came from Paypal. You will need to enter your Paypal password to complete this step.
• Go back to the Paypal page, and just below the welcome line with your name click on the Get Verified link.
• Login to your Unionbank EON banking and search on the transaction history for the VISA Expanded USE charge. Remember the 4 digits that appear after the word VISA.
• Switch back to the Paypal page and enter those 4 digits into link and confirm your debit or credit card.
